2 great photographers came to visit me earlier this week, (one being me cuzzo) along with a few others. Lester Green and his gf BobbyJames (her internet persona), were in town for his sister Terri's Armed Forces graduation in Fort Lee, VA.
In 2010 Lester was the first photographer to introduce me to "off camera flash" and the use of strobes, this brought a new beginning to a familiar passion. Out of all the members of my large family there are actually 4 photography inclined members, Of those 4 half live in Houston, Tx. This weekend we add another, BobbyJames. She is the best natural light photographer that I've met to date.
So I have to play cauch up....
In Dec I had a shoot with a new friend, Maita Jones, a blogger who mixes fashion and personal inspiration, she calls them "bits of wisdom". Miata works in corporate America by day and an is an avid worshiper at GCC in Chantilly, Va
2012 is here... that is all I am going to say, (I just felt this post going somewhere it shouldn't). Anyways I am looking to ramp things up this year. I'm thinking more personality and defiantly more PHOTOS. Now for the goods.. Well at least I feel they're good. After a snowy VA sat I managed to fuflilly my weekly goal of taking pics.
I call myself a "professional" but really the only recurring models/clients I have are family (that's ok though... I keep telling myself). One day, some glorious day my phone will ring!!
Well meet Ryan, my little bro! He's 13, his "natural high" is basketball and he plays the saxophone. Until I get more models/clients, you may see him here often. That is all...
